Bones On Fire
Bones on Fire Biker Church
My Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,
We celebrated our 2nd Anniversary this past Sunday and had a wonderful time in the Lord! 50 Bones on Fire Biker Church family members enjoyed the Spirit-filled worship music provided by Joan and the JLBB MM band. God was in the house and we all shared a very special experience!
As we begin our third year we are very happy to announce some exciting additions to our regular Biker Church schedule:
Devotional & Ride
Starting in February we will be meeting four Sundays each month. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays we will meet at the County Line at 10:00 AM for a short Devotional followed by a time of riding and fellowship. We hope to be able to visit and support local churches and are looking for your input concerning our activities on these occasions. If there is enough interest, we intend to make these Devotionals an ongoing part of our monthly Biker Church calendar. Our first Devotional and Ride will be on February 7th at 10:00 AM.
Bones on Fire Biker Church
We will continue to meet every 2nd & 4th Sunday at 10:00 AM for our regular Bones on Fire Biker Church. Our next Church service will be February 14th at:

Bones on Fire Biker Church Service

Pastor David reminded us that we can only make a difference if we are resolved and firm in our purpose. This Food For Thought speaks to that drive and determination:
I know your works; you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot. So, because your are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit you out of my mouth. (Revelation 3:15-16)
I remember reading about Winston Lloyd who was an aide to Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. One day he brought to Kissinger a long-awaited report on conflicts in South America.
Without even glancing at the report, Kissinger asked, “Is this the very best you can do?”
Lloyd stammered for a few moments and said, “There were a few informational gaps.”
“Take it back,” Kissinger said and dismissed him.
Two weeks later, after working night and day, Lloyd again entered Kissinger’s office and held out the report.
“Is this the very best you can do?” Kissinger asked, without looking at the document.
Lloyd hesitated and admitted that there were some parts of the report that were incomplete. Kissinger told him to take it back. Three weeks later Lloyd asked for another meeting.
For the third time Kissinger asked, “Is this the very best you can do?”
Lloyd replied, “Mr. Secretary, this is my very best effort.”
Kissinger smiled and said, “That’s all I ever ask. I’ll be happy to read your report.”
Doing our best is all God asks of us. You and I do not have a right relationship with God because of the things we do. Our faith is the important key in our commitment to God. However, what we do says a lot about how much we care and how committed we are to serving God.
I realize that we are human. None of us are going to do everything perfectly like Jesus was able to do, but to follow God means that we are called to do our best. In Revelation 3:15-16, it says, “I know your works; you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot. So, because your are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”
God doesn’t want us to be lukewarm. God does want us to do our very best.
Dear God, turn up the heat so that I may be on fire for you by doing my very best. In Jesus Name, Amen.
On behalf of Pastor David and Sister Olga, may the blessings of God be upon you and we will see you Tuesday February 2 at 7:00 PM for Biker Bible Study.
