The welcoming of a child into your home is one of the most joyous times in a family’s life. We understand that not all families are affiliated with a particular house of worship, some are of mixed faiths and some families practice their spirituality on a more personal level.

We also understand the happiness and excitement that you experience in becoming new parents. Our minister services will customize your child’s baptism, christening, naming ceremony, or baby blessing ceremony so that it accommodates all faiths, values and beliefs.

What is Baptism?
This is a ceremony that is a symbolic act in which we share in the death and life of Jesus Christ. It can be said that this event is a funeral and a birthday combined into one where we essentially recognize and identify with what Jesus did for the sake of our sins. It is an opportunity to declare our newfound life in Christ, for parents to recognize their children as gifts from God, and to commit to the spiritual nurturing of their child.

What is a Christening?
The term christening literally means to “dedicate to Christ” and it is the custom of giving a child a Christian name at their dedication. Both the baptism and the christening ceremony are closely associated and are now synonymous in some traditions.

What is a Baby Blessing Ceremony?
This type of ceremony is more fitting for more non-traditional religious blessings and is an opportunity to give thanks for the miracle of life. Parents can acknowledge their child’s birth through a less formal gathering or by combining family values and beliefs into a more personalized ceremony.

What is a Naming Ceremony?
This ceremony is also more fitting for more non-traditional religious blessing where parents celebrate the birth of their child. It is similar to the baby blessing ceremony and parents publicly name the baby as they introduce them into the world. It is also a chance for parents to make their own promises to care and protect their child.

Our Family Services
No matter the type of ceremony you choose to conduct, we offer services to people of all religions, heritage, and ages. We can also customize ceremonies for those families with diverse spiritual and religious backgrounds. We believe that we are all God’s children and therefore deserve to celebrate that relationship with God through our own meaningful observance.

Adults and Children
We understand that there are many adults who have chosen to wait until they can make a conscious decision to identify with what Jesus experienced for us. We also realize that many parents wait for their children to make the decision for themselves. We welcome and congratulate adults and families that would like to fully experience personal dedication to their faith and we are excited that you have come to this important turning point in your life. Contact us for help in arranging this significant decision.

We welcome your requests for locations, whether it is at your home, at an outside venue such as a lake, a local park, the ocean, or in any other location that is of special significance to you and your family during this spiritual journey.

Include Family Members and Friends
This is the perfect opportunity to declare your promises to your child, to God and to your family and friends. It is also a wonderful way to involve relatives, other siblings, grandparents and important family friends. It is a speical time to bond with your new child through your renewed relationship with God.
